Titanic Chess: How to Play

A 10×10 chess variant with 24 pieces per player.

The initial setup has 10 Pawns on the third row, four ranks apart. The second row: Rook, Knight, Bishop, Knight, Queen, King, Knight, Bishop, Knight, Rook. The remaining four pieces (1 Queen, 1 Rook, 1 Bishop, and 1 Knight) are placed anywhere on the first row.

Pieces. Each player has 1King, 2 Queens, 3 Rooks, 3 Bishops, 5 Knights, and 10 Pawns.

All chess rules apply. Pawns promote on the tenth rank.
